Hello, I am Teigh Reed. When I was little, I had a passion for all things numbers. In high school, I took a class in accounting and won the Jr. Business Achievement Award because the teacher, who happened to be a coach didn’t know the subject. I ended up teaching the class.
Now that I’m older, I maintain my love of numbers, problem solving and finances in general.
I started Black Girl Money Diet to provide black women a place to discover a path to financial wellness.
There are times when we have this nagging feeling that we need to make a change but we do not have the proper tools to proceed.
I hope to create a forum that offers guidance and clarity that will empower black women the opportunity to attain financial freedom.
